1950s/60s Sports Trays
Item Details
A set of six small serving trays and one large serving tray that features champions from various sports. The trays are black with gold shaded lettering and graphics. The large tray has six sections that honor record holders for specific sports, the earliest date listed is from 1932 (boxing), the latest date listed is 1961 (all of the sports list a 1961 champion). The sports are: Professional football, Kentucky Derby, World Series, US Open Golf, Heavyweight Boxing and College Football. The small trays list: Heisman Trophy Winners from 1950-1961; Batting Champions from 1954-1961 (both leagues); Triple Crown Winners – 1919 Sir Barton to 1948 Citation; Jim Thorpe Trophy winners from 1955-1961; Neil Memorial Trophy winners from 1946-1961 and the National Amateur Golf winners from 1950-1961.
