19th Century Aquatint after Virgilio Tojetti

A 19th century aquatint after Virgilio Tojetti (1851-1901). It depicts an aristocratic woman in 18th-century dress playing a piano as clusters of cherubim flutter and dance around her. The piece is set behind glass in a wooden frame with a striped veneer. Hangs from a wire on the reverse.

Condition

- Wear and scratches consistent with use; yellowing to print; print is slightly crooked in frame; paper backing has extensive wear and yellowing
