Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a landscape scene by Mary L. Edwards. This painting depicts a nighttime scene of a loosely rendered town overlooking dirt roads which cut through two bodies of water seen to either side of the composition. An artist signature is seen to the lower left corner. The painting is presented underneath glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- canvas is loose on stretchers; finish to frame is peeling along right side; chips all around edges of frame; backing of frame discolored; paper backing torn to frame’s verso; could benefit from dusting and cleaning.
