Antique Federal Period Drop Leaf Table

Item Details

An antique Federal Period drop-leaf table in the Classical Revival design. This rectangular mahogany table features a french polish finish with hinged panels extending out from a center section above a drawer which includes dovetail joinery and a metal knob pull. The top rests on a turned baluster pedestal with four reeded and tapered saber legs which end in stylized brushed brass feet and casters.

Condition

- patching to the top; stress cracks to the pedestal; previous repairs and scratches throughout.
