Antique Reading Cast Iron and Brass Oil Lamp

Item Details

An antique ornate cast metal Reading oil lamp. The lamp is made of cast iron or other metal, with a brass-tone finish and brass fittings. The lamp has a round pierced top, sitting on an urn-like bottom portion, which rests on a round base with four pierced metal legs. The knob is marked ‘Made in U.S. of America’. The top of the burner is marked ‘Reading’, with a patent date year of 1894. The lamp comes with a clear glass chimney.
