A hand painted trinket box. This piece features the figure of a monkey wearing a yellow outfit and red hat sitting atop a round orange box with a white hinged lid and brass tone accents. The interior of the box is marked ‘Chantilly’ and the underside of the box is marked ‘Peint main’.
