Gorham Sterling Repoussé Hand Mirror

Item Details

A sterling silver hand mirror from Gorham. The piece features repoussé decoration depicting flowers surrounding a central cartouche and ringed by a dentil style border. A shell embellishment can be found at the juncture between the handle and of the mirror. There are three pseudo hallmarks for Gorham as well as ‘Sterling’ impressed on the edge.

Condition

- some overall minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing; some minor dents; losses to silver on the plated mirror.
