A statue of The Madonna and Child. This piece depicts The Madonna who is holding a young Jesus Christ who is standing on her knee. This piece is a reproduction of a statue that was originally made during medieval times that is held in the Walters Art Gallery. The maker’s mark stamped on a metal plate on the underside of the base and labels Alva Museum Replicas as the company of manufacture.
