1946 Rookwood Pottery 2655 Owl Bookends

Item Details

A pair of 1946 Rookwood Pottery #2655 owl bookends. They feature a horned owl sitting on an overturned book. Each is covered with a translucent yellow glaze, with hints of white showing through from underneath. The company name, date ‘XLVI’ (1946), and mold number ‘2655’ are pressed on the underside.

- Wear and scratches consistent with use; crazing to glaze
