A pastel drawing on paper by J. E. Rummel. This piece depicts a bust portrait of the founding father Benjamin Franklin rendered within the depiction of a kite, bolts of lightning, a key, clocks and electricity poles overlapped by the words ‘Inspiration/Franklin/Progression’. This work is signed by the artist in graphite to the lower right of the mat board. Presented behind glass, beneath a gray mat and housed in a simple wood frame with a black finish.

- minor dents to black finish of frame.
