A vintage offset lithograph on board after Robert Wesley Amick (American, 1879 – 1969) titled The Craftsman. It depicts a Navajo father as he teaches his son the tradition and art of making silver jewelry. Elements of daily life within the timbered mud shelter include a woven blanket, moccasins, and corn. The piece is covered with a clear top coat that gives it the appearance and texture of an original painting. ‘Robert Wesley Amick’ appears in plate on the lower left corner. The art is set in a robust, bronze tone wooden frame with faux timber elements. Hangs from a wire on the reverse.
