Item Details
An offset lithograph after an original late-nineteenth-century lithograph poster ad for Chaussures Incroyable by Rasel. This print features a well-dressed man in period costume, holding a black dress shoe, with open shoe boxes next to him on the floor. Prices and information about the company’s branches are provided on the poster. In-plate writing to the lower right reads ’d’apres Rasel’. The print is presented under glass in a gold-tone wood frame with a low-relief design and cream matting.
Condition
- some discoloration and bleeding in printed ink, especially to left edge; small chips at frame corners; minor scratches throughout frame.
