1920s-1930s French Jockey Club Binoculars
Item Details
A pair of 1930s French Jockey Club binoculars. With a metal body and frame, this pair retains its original focus wheel and two glass lens. These binoculars were used at various public events such as opera, theater, and sporting venues. The binoculars are stamped ‘Made In France’ on the bar and ‘French Jockey Club’ around the rim on the eyepieces.
Condition
Pre-owned exhibiting edge and surface age pitting. Oxidation depicted on the body of the binoculars. The glass lens are in good condition, not cracked at the time of cataloging. There is a piece of leather that is loose inside the eyepiece.
