Josef Eidenberger Copper Engravings
Item Details
A pair of signed copper engravings by listed artist Josef Eidenberger (Austrian, 1899-1991). The pair includes an untitled image of the roof and steeple of a church, as seen from a hill below, in a snowy landscape. It is numbered 197/200 and is signed ‘Eidenberger’ to the lower right border. A card with the engraving identifies the church as St. Martin’s Church in Linz, Austria. The other engraving is titled Niederwaldkirchen. It is signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right border, ‘Eidenberger’. A biography of the artist is affixed to the verso. Both engravings are handsomely presented with bordered mats, under glass, in custom made gilded wood frames, and are ready to hang.
