Pair of Charles Wysocki Framed Prints
Item Details
A pair of framed offset lithograph prints, after original paintings by listed American artist Charles Wysocki (1928-2002). Both prints depict folk art-style scenes of small towns and country homes. One print titled Page’s Bake Shop depicts people with horses, carts and sleighs in a snowy landscape with farmhouses. It is signed within plate ‘Charles Wysocki’, and is also signed in pencil just below, along with the edition number 539/1000. The other print is titled Olde America, depicting store fronts in a town. It is signed within plate ‘Charles Wysocki’, and also in pencil just below, along with the edition number, which is slightly illegible, but contains the number 586 above another number. Both prints are presented with double mats, under glass, in wood frames and are ready to hang. Both come with paperwork inside envelopes affixed to the backs of the frames.
