A chromolithograph reproduction of a wildly popular painting by well-listed American Neoclassical artist Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966), titled Daybreak. It depicts a woman in a loose garment lying on the floor of an ornate columned room that opens to a stunning view of a mountain fjord flooded with light. Another nude woman leans over the one lying on the floor, seemingly awakening her. The print is unsigned, “The House of Art, N.Y.” and artist’s name are printed in black to the lower left. Presented in a wooden frame. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
