An exceptional Max Handwerk ‘Bebe Elile’ handmade porcelain ‘Bebe Elile’ doll. The strawberry blonde doll wears a white dress with eyelet pink ribbon trim. The doll’s head is made of porcelain with exquisitely hand-painted facial features and blue glass eyes with brown lashes. The doll’s body and limbs are made of a composite material. The marking on the back of the neck reads ‘Max Handwerk, Bebe Elile, B 90/185, 12 1/4 Germany’. The top of the doll’s head, underneath the wig, is marked to the edge ‘Vigil’.
