A pair of vintage Whiting & Davis, and Evans wristlet type handbags. The pair of gold tone evening bags include a gold tone mesh bag with a chain handle, which is lined in white fabric and labeled ‘Mesh Bags – Whiting & Davis Co, Made in U.S.A.’ An Evans Elegance bag features a gold tone woven metal strap, attached to one side of a rectangular textured gold tone metal compact-type bag. The compact opens to reveal an ample 5-inch by 3-inch mirror on the underside of the lid, along with compartments to hold lipstick, and other small items. The case closes with a clasp on the front, and is marked ‘Evans Elegance’.
