Vintage Handmade Bisque Doll

Item Details

A vintage or antique handmade bisque doll. The doll dates to the early twentieth century, and has a bisque hand-painted head, with the body made of a composite material. The doll’s hair is brown, and she has blue eyes with hand-painted facial details. Her limbs are jointed at the knees and wrists. She wears a newer handmade pink taffeta dress with ribbon and lace trim, with white stockings and white boots. The doll is marked on the back of the neck ‘Heinrich Handwerk, Simon & Halbig’.
