A Selket figurine. This is a replica of that statue of the ancient Egyptian goddess Selket, the scorpion goddess who represented healing, growth, nature, and more; the original was discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamun, standing over and protecting the young pharaoh’s canopic jars. This figure showcases a gilded finish and is set upon a black plinth. The maker’s mark, if present, is located to the underside of the piece.
