A varnished oil painting on board landscape by listed American artist Henry Hammond Ahl (1869 – 1953). This piece depicts a landscape scene among the woods with a water course surrounded by lush trees. the work is signed to the lower right corner. Presented without glass, housed in a golden tone frame with gesso textured border.

- minor craquelure to gesso borders on frame; backing paper torn from previous opening.
