A hand-knotted Moroccan wool accent rug. This shaggy rug is woven in a palette of cobalt, cream, and brindled taupe. It features a medallion that encloses an eight-cornered motif in cream within a sawtooth cobalt framing device. The medallion rests on an open field of brindled taupe. The rug has a single wide cobalt border. It has overcast edges, finishing at either end with short kilim skirts and ivory wool warp fringe. Tagged to reverse, made of pure wool with a tight weave.
