A hand-knotted Turkish silk hunting rug. This accent rug is rendered in a palette of cream, vermillion, and tan. Its field is densely populated with numerous gazelles and deer; a rider on horseback; a hunter with a bow and arrow; and a rearing horse, all amid a rocky landscape. The field is framed by three floral borders. It has double overcast edges and finishes with knotted silk warp fringe. It is unmarked.
