Item Details
A Scandinavian handwoven geometric wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a soft, variegated palette of ivory, cream with tan, pale celadon, butter, and café au lait, with accents in dusty crimson, and light blue. It features a pattern of square-ended stars in different sizes and configurations amid horizontal bands of color and small cross shapes. The rug has overcast edges and finishes at either end with braided wool warp fringe. It is signed by the weaver in one corner.
