A limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled In the Winners Circle by Henry Faulkner (Kentucky; 1924 – 1981), created in 1971. This print depicts a winning jockey and horse with roses draped around its neck. The figures are rendered in a garden with figures standing behind the railing. This piece is numbered 284 out of an edition of 500 and is signed in plate to the right and left. The title is printed in the print margin and is housed in black mat within a composite frame resembling wood.

Henry Faulkner was born in Kentucky and became an orphan at a young age. Later in life, he earned a scholarship to the Louisville School of Art which he studied at for a while as well as the Cincinnati Art Academy and Los Angeles Art Institute. His work has been exhibited at the Hemingway Gallery, New York; Collectors of American Art, New York; Atlanta Art Museum, Atlanta to name a few.
