A signed twentieth-century oil painting on canvas of a still life. The arrangement depicted includes a green ceramic jug, a few corn cobs, and a tumbled woven basket with apples. The still life is set on a gray surface, in front of a gray background. It is signed with the artist’s initials ‘M.A.B.’ to the lower right. The painting is presented is beige and silver-tone wood frame with foam backing.
Condition
- some paint loss along edges of composition; some spotted stains throughout composition and along edges of composition; some wear to frame including chips at corners and edges; small black stain on left side of frame; other scratches, stains, and discoloration throughout frame; dust throughout.
