Vintage Japanese Moriage Decorated Tea Set
Item Details
A vintage Japanese porcelain tea and dessert service. This grouping was likely made between 1900-1920. The set is comprised of a teapot, six dessert plates, five saucers, five teacups, a cream jug and sucrier. The pieces are decorated with moriage and painted in enamels. There is a dragon form spout and painted figures on the surface as well as gilded rims. The set is unmarked.
Condition
- some losses the enamels and gilding; missing lids on the cream jug and sugar bowl.
