Vintage Carved Chinese Hardstone casket
Item Details
A vintage hand-carved, hardstone, Chinese casket. This ornate vessel was created from beige hardstone, with bits of rust, green and black speckled throughout. The lid features a depiction of a guardian dragon and koi; and the body decorated with birds sitting among the lotus vines and flowers. This vessel is seated upon a brass, claw-footed base.
Condition
- missing knob to lid; wear is consistent with age and prior use.
