A Mid Century Modern rolling tub chair by Burris Industries. The frame is upholstered in a textured, red fabric. It features a deep, curved back, downswept arms, and a cushioned seat. The chair rests on a metal, four-point base ending in ball casters. It retains a manufacturer’s tag on the underside as well as a tag marked ‘Property Of / Baptist State / Convention / 464’.

Burris Industries was located in Lincolnton, NC, and well-known for creating upscale office furnishings in the 1960s and 1970s.
