Pair of Oak Chairs and Stool With Rush Seats

Item Details

A collection of vintage items including two chairs in oak and a rush seat stool. There are two oak chairs with a bowed cresting plate joined to a pair of chamfered stiles with peg joints over back support rails with a rush seat, and turned taper legs ending in metal tab feet with stretchers for support. The chairs each have an ‘In Memory of’ marker attached to the top of the cresting plate. Also included is a rosewood tone lacquered, square stool with rush seat inset into a seat rail apron frame resting on four taper saber legs with chamfered stretchers for support.

• Please note, this is an item that may be especially difficult to move and/or transport. Unless shipping arrangements are available and made by the winning bidder, that individual is advised to bring, appropriate assistance, vehicle, proper materials, and any necessary tools to pickup.

Condition

- fair; the rush seats are coming apart in places on one of the chairs; there are scratches and nicks to the finish of all three pieces.
