Item Details
A pair of Chinese soapstone carvings. The pair includes a carved representation of Shoulao, the god of longevity. He is depicted traditionally with a large forehead, leaning upon a staff, and holding a peach. Also included is an intricately carved tree sculpture featuring birds perched among its branches. Both pieces rest on carved wooden bases.
Condition
two pieces are broken off off tree but are included
