Pair of Vintage House Coats
Item Details
A pair of vintage house coats. This pairing includes a circa 1930s floral pullover house coat with deep V neckline, shawl collar, and kimono-style sleeves, which according to the consignor came from the Gruen Estate of Clifton, Cincinnati. This pairing also includes a 1960s cream seersucker button-front house coat with oversized peter pan collar, cuffed half sleeves, patch pocket, and fabric belt, embellished with embroidered flowers to the collar and pocket.
Condition
- some loose threads, some discoloration to the fabric, holes to the underarms of the cream robe.
Dimensions
- measured folded and stacked. The floral robe measures approximately 21" shoulder, 11" sleeves with a 15" drop, 48" bust, 44.5" length. The cream robe measures approximately 44" bust, 41" length.
