Early 19th Century Giltwood Pier Mirror

Item Details

An early 19th century Federal Period giltwood pier mirror with hand painted églomisé decoration to the reverse side of the glass top which is an illustration of George Washington crossing the Delaware in black with gold and a muted light blue sky background. The mirror features a stepped design to the top with acorn drop finials, carved rosettes, and twist style pillar accents. There is wire to hang on the back side.

Condition

- reverse painting has a spot of wear to the lower left corner.
