A collection of three boxed sets from The Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney’s Donald Duck (Scottsdale, AZ: Another Rainbow, 1983). This collection includes sets VI, VII and VIII of the ten-set library, each containing three hardcover volumes of predominantly black-and-white comics. Sets VII and VIII collect Barks’s Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge comics from Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories #31–166, while set VI, titled Walt Disney’s Donald Duck Family, collects giveaways, annuals, and miscellaneous comics starring other characters such as the Junior Woodchucks and Gyro Gearloose. The first volume of set VIII has a bookplate on the inside front cover marked ‘This is one of 750 sets specially signed by the artist,’ and hand-signed ‘Carl Barks; 564.’
