Item Details
A metal Tibetan Manjushri Bodhisattva Buddhist statue. This bronze and gold tone metal statue depicts the bodhisattva sitting in the dhyanasana pose upon a lotus throne while brandishing a khadga sword. Lotus flowers bloom at his shoulders and support a book. The underside is stamped with a double-vajra mark and is furnished with round felt pads for surface protection.
Condition
- felt pads attached to the base of the statue for protection are slightly mis-aligned, making the statue off balance; head and hair of statue behind crown covered in some colored pigments; minor dents and dings around upper edge of statue base; small dent near where base meets robes of sitting figure; small scratch on sword blade near tip.
