A mounted lithograph by Wallace Nutting depicting a country road through trees. This color lithograph depicts a dirt road with car tire tracks winding away into tall, narrow trees against a crepuscular sky with bands of pale blue, yellow and red. The print is cut out and mounted on paper and is presented framed under glass. The print is marked ‘© W. M. 1921’ in the plate and ‘Wallace Nutting’ is hand-signed on the paper beneath the mounted image.
Condition
- foxing throughout paper; frame has hooks for wire but no wire; backing paper has been torn off exposing old adhesive residue.
