Item Details
A photogravure portrait by Frederick Gutekunst (1831 – 1917). This photograph depicts a girl in a sailor’s uniform and hair ribbon posing in front portraiture, staring forward with a slight smile. The photograph is mounted on paper featuring an embossed border and a printed inscription denoting artist and location of the photoshoot, being Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is presented under glass in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- frame has minor scratches throughout; paper is acid burned where mat once was; discoloration present. (ARTIAS)
