World War I Second Liberty Bond Posters
Item Details
A grouping of posters. This grouping contains three posters from the First World War and was printed by the United States Government to urge it’s citizens to buy war bonds of The Second Liberty Loan of 1917 to fund the war effort against the Central Powers. The posters were made by different manufacturers and are each from several series; including the fourth issued by Edwards and Deutsch Litho Co, the ninth printed by Sackett and Wilhelms Corp and the third printed by Ketterlinus respectively. Each poster has been varnished onto wooden boards with wire hangers on the back of each board.
Condition
- posters are ripped all around edges; heavily varnished onto wooden boards; varnish is discolored; residue present, back of boards are not varnished.
