Executed in 2004, this work depicts energetic and assertive vertical gradations of color ranging from red to yellow. This piece is signed with the initial of the complete name of the artist, Elizabeth, and titled to the lower left of the canvas verso. Presented without glass, in a wood floating frame with a silver tone finish.
Beth Hertz’s is known for her Synchromism style paintings in which color and sound share similar qualities. By pairing color scales the visual work creates the same sensation as music.
