A collection of Wedgwood Harvard Tercentenary blue on white cups and plates. This lot includes six espresso cups and six dessert plates. The cups depict famous buildings from the beginning of Harvard’s founding on one side; the other side is marked ‘1636-1936’. The bases of the cups are marked with the name of the building and ‘Harvard Tercentenary – Wedgwood – Etruria – England’ and the stamp for ‘Jones McDuffee & Stratton Co. – Boston’. The plates have a blue floral design to the rim and lip and are marked in a similar manner underneath. The cups feature depictions of ‘The Old College’, ‘Hemenway Gymnasium’ and more.
