A collection of books from renowned English author Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton. This thirteen-volume collection contains several of the author’s most well-known works including The Last Days of Pompeii (1842), The New Timon: A Poetical Romance, and St. Stephen’s: A Poem (1860), The Poems and Ballads of Schiller translated by Bulwer-Lytton (1844), Alice, or The Mysteries (1842), Zanoni (1842), Paul Clifford (1842), Eurgene Aram (1842), Night and Morning (1843), Pelham (1842), volumes 1 and 2 of Athens: Its Rise and Fall (1843), and A Strange Story (1862). All were published by Bernhard Tauchnitz in Leipzig between 1842 and 1862 and is bound in half leather with marbled boards.
