A Victorian Renaissance revival walnut parlor chair with a carved frame done in the style of John Jelliff (Norwalk, Conn. (1813-1901). The chair has burled inset panels and a carved crest with a classic portrait in relief at the center. The red velvet upholstery is tufted at the squared back and over upholstered at the round seat and the cylindrical legs end in castors at the front.
