L. Mason Oil on Canvas Painting of Study After Philippe de Champaigne

An oil on canvas painting of a study of the original 17th century work by Philippe de Champaigne (1602 – 1674). This portrait depicts a beautiful young woman in a white Grecian dress being attended to by a cherub while relaxing in a garden like setting. The piece is signed ‘L. Mason’ by the artist to the lower right corner. It is presented in a gold tone gesso frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.

- some fading to finish on frame.
