An abstract limited edition abstract etching with aquatint and drypoint by French artist Yannick Ballif (1927 – 2009) best known for her modernist abstract etchings with lush textures and vibrant pops of color that are inspired by her surrounding landscapes. The work features red textured biomorphic shapes on a tan ground with heavy dark lines and cross hatched marks. It is signed in pencil and numbered E.A. I/VII to the lower right. The print is presented in a neutral cream colored mat under glass in a thin aluminum frame.
