Item Details
A handwoven Tekke Bokhara area rug. The rug features a pattern of elephant’s foot medallions in a palette of red, black, and cream across the deep red field. Surrounding the field are several compound resolved borders that feature a flower box starburst pattern in a matching palette as the central medallions. The rug is finished with a kilim skirt, a wool fringe at each end, and is unmarked to the reverse.
