A lot of nine hardcover volumes of classic literature from the International Collectors Library, published in the 1950s. Each volume is bound in a leather hardcover (mostly red, one light brown) with gilt stamped designs and lettering, and some are illustrated with engravings. Titles include A Stillness at Appomattox by Bruce Catton, The Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Selected Essays by Michel de Montaigne, The Tragedies of William Shakespeare, The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas, The Silver Chalice by Thomas B. Costain, and Madame Curie by Eve Curie and translated by Vincent Sheean.
