Antique London Sterling Silver Ewer
Item Details
A pre-1822 sterling silver ewer. The antique pitcher was produced in London and features a beaded borders with an s-shaped scrolled handle together with neoclassical decoration of a medallion festooned with garlands on stepped foot upon a square base. There are impressed hallmarks for London including the crowned leopard indicating this piece dates to pre-1822, the lion passant along with other indiscernible marks. The approximate weight is 7.77 ozt.
