A hand knotted Persian Khorasan area rug. The rug features a lozenge shaped scarlet medallion with a variety of geometric decorations in sage, white, and pale blue. The medallion rests on a navy field, studded with repeating forest green, powder blue, light orange, and white diamonds. The field is bordered by stylized variations of running dog and sawtooth borders. White warp fringe present at either end.
