Rubbing on Wove Paper of Mary and Jesus in Temple
Item Details
A rubbing on wove paper. This print depicts the Virgin Mary seated on a thrown with baby Jesus on her lap in brown against a black background. The piece is hand signed by the artist to the lower right ‘Kristin Lyckberg’. It is presented behind brown mat, under a UV protective glass in a black painted wooden frame with gesso foliage ornamentation. There is a wire hanger to verso with small plastic cushions.
Condition
- wear on bottom right corner of frame; puncture in backing on right side beneath wire hook.
