1947 Nat Lowell Etching "Central Park South"
Item Details
A 1947 etching on paper by American artist Nat Lowell (1880–1956) titled Central Park South. This etching depicts a pond and trees in the foreground with the New York City skyline visible behind. The etching is signed ‘Nat Lowell’ in graphite to the lower right of the image and is presented matted under glass in a red frame with a hanging wire.
Condition
- plate mark visible; toning to image; print seems blurred from possible wear to plate; backing and image loose in frame; backing paper missing; matting buckling at top left.
